The end of the Cold War has not ushered
in an era of peace. As our world steps uneasily into
the new millennium, we face a number of significant
challenges to peace. On the regional level, ethnic conflicts
have proliferated, while on the global level, we now
fear a "clash of civilizations." At the same time, everywhere
cultures face serious social challenges related to the
breakdown of family structure and the erosion of sexual
morality.
UPF (IIFWP) takes on these challenges
through a series of conferences. By bringing together
religious leaders, politicians, educators, academicians,
and the mediaprominent men and women from every field
of human endeavorit is hoped that innovative solutions
to these turbulent times can be found.
Listed below are reports, conference
preceding, articles, photographs, and executive summaries
reflecting the sincere efforts of the IIFWP / IIPC network
of partners who, like us, seek world peace.
