UPF-Korea's Seoul Forum Discusses Global Views on the Korean Peninsula

Seoul, Korea—UPF-Korea invited former ambassador of Korea to Costa Rica, Kwon Dae Myung, to speak on how the Korean Peninsula is viewed abroad at the 17th UPF Forum for a Heavenly Unified Korea, which was held on March 22, 2023 at the Kim Koo Museum & Library in Seoul and streamed live on the chapter’s YouTube channel.
Welcoming remarks were given by UPF-Korea president, Mr. Hyun Young Lee, and Sunhak Education Foundation director, Mr. Song Yong Chun, who thanked Amb. Kwon for his contribution to the realization of a vision of a heavenly unified Korea. Amb. Kwon is a permanent advisor to the UN and the North Korea representative for the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organization (KEDO), making him an expert in the area of diplomacy and unification and who has researched the process of Korea’s evolution throughout history. He emphasized the need for a new vision of peace for the Korean people who have so much potential.
