A Thousand Oil Lamps Lit at Buddhist Temple in Memory of Father Moon

Kathmandu, Nepal - A thousand oil lamps were lit in honor of Dr. Sun Myung Moon’s life on September 9 in Swoyambyo, at one of the oldest and most famous Buddhist temples in Nepal. Venerable Khenpo Sangye Kalsang, Principal and Director of the Buddha Dharma Center in Swoyambyo, led the ceremony of lighting 1,000 lamps, chanting, and prayers, which was conducted in great respect for Father Moon’s interreligious activities and education throughout the world.
