Argentina-2017-07-20-UPF-Argentina Hosts Talk on ‘Emotions’

Spanish

Buenos Aires, Argentina—“What Are Emotions? A View From  Graphology” was the title of a talk hosted by UPF-Argentina’s Ambassadors Cycle (1) speaker series program. Prof. Cecilia Amarante, who is an Ambassador for Peace and art therapist who has worked with children and provides her knowledge and art in health centers, nursing homes and other settings, spoke on the topic. The event took place at the Peace Embassy in Buenos Aires on Friendship Day, July 20, 2017, and also included a celebration of the Day.

When analyzing someone’s personality, one of the most important life skills someone can have is emotional stability. Graphology, the study of handwriting, can be a tool for determining someone’s character traits, such as emotional stability. How well one handles challenges, changes and unexpected events—any situation that may cause stress—can reveal ones level of emotional stability.

Prof. Amarante shared her experiences and answered questions from the attendees. The talk was followed by a celebration of Friendship Day. A short video about UPF was shown: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k2K_sphYvM&t=8s.
