Buenos Aires, Argentina—An Ambassador for Peace spoke on “Drug Consumption from the Viewpoint of Spirituality” at the August meeting of the Ambassadors Cycle.

The lecture took place at the Peace Embassy in Buenos Aires city on August 16, 2017 and was given by Mr. Gustavo Libardi, president of Capacitación para la Vida (Education for Life), a nonprofit that seeks to address drug abuse, crime, illiteracy and immorality through educational programs (1).

In his presentation, Mr. Libardi talked about the effects drugs have on people’s bodies and minds;  gave an overview of the phenomenon of drug use and solutions that have been proposed so far; and possible causes of drug abuse, as well as his personal opinion on the subject.
