UPF-Congo Installs New City Chairman

Pointe Noire, Congo—On June 24, 2021, the Universal Peace Federation held an installation ceremony for the new chairman of UPF-Pointe-Noire. The former vice-chairman of the Pointe-Noire / Kouilou Department, Michel Roger Bounda, is succeeding the outgoing chairman, Victor Matondo.
The ceremony began with a prayer by the national leader of the Congo chapter of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, Rev. Ndielle Norbert. Departmental secretary general, Zodji Augustin, then explained the vision and organization of UPF. The master of ceremonies, Madingou Valentin, read the biography of the new departmental chairman. The national secretary general of UPF-Congo, Tsana Clément, proceeded with the installation of the new chairman with the delivery of the seal of UPF and the letter of appointment.
Then Mr. Bounda, gave his acceptance speech, after which Reverend Norbert gave closing remarks and offered the closing prayer. The ceremony ended with a photo session and refreshments.
