London, United Kingdom—UPF was invited to participate in a program at the University of Oxford on the theme of "Challenges of a Shared World." The conference, which took place from October 23 to 26, 2015, was co-sponsored by the UN Alliance of Civilizations, the Al-Babtain Center for Dialogue among Civilizations, and the University of Oxford. Approximately 250 leaders from throughout the Arab world were in attendance. Sessions focused on topics such as refugees, food security, new media and social networks, urbanization, and the environment.
