Following the Blue Road
The Blue route is an excellent way to get to know Suomenlinna. Blue route across the fortress runs from north to south via all the main sights. The route starts at the main quay in front of the Jetty Barracks and terminates at the King’s Gate. The length of the route is about 1.5 km
Suomenlinna Church
A moment/ A Prayer for Peace
One of the landmarks of the fortress. A functioning lighthouse and one of the most popular churches for weddings in Helsinki, Suomenlinna Church and its tower are an integral part of the skyline of southern Helsinki
Suomenlinna Museum
A Goodwill Message
Suomenlinna Museum showcases the eventful history of the island fortress from the 18th century to the present day. It also depicts the restauration of the World Heritage Site, Suomenlinna.

to commemorate in advance the International Day of Peace (21.9)
Helsinki´s most spectacular sea views are often experienced from the peak of the Piper Park.
King´s Gate
Closing of the Peace Road.
The entrance gateway to the fortress is adorned with memorial plaques which have carved texts mirroring the intellectual history of the 1770s. They convey political, strategic and moral guiding principles in life.
