IAPD-Brazil Easter Program Attracts More Than 350 Viewers

Brazil—On Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, the Brazil chapter of the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) led a Zoom program on the theme “Day of Resurrection, Rebirth, and Eternal Life.” Participants numbered more than 350.
Ministers from various denominations spoke on how Jesus’ resurrection affected their lives and how this historic event can be the basis for unity. The Anglican Church in Brazil was represented by Bishop Altamiro and Father Ricardo. Hon. Joáo Campos, federal congressman of Brazil, represented the Assembly of God, and Rev. Amilton Gomes brought the Baptist perspective. Other religious leaders included Isaac Carvalho and Bishop Edson Luis.
IAPD-Brazil President Boubacar Diallo addressed the program, and Ms. Lindomar Diallo from UPF-Braxil also contributed.
The program was opened with a musical offering by Ayami Katsukawa. The emcee was Pastor Mario Marcos, Pastor Wallisson Delano conducted the opening prayer, and UPF-Brazil President Dr. Simáo Ferabolli offered some background.
