We realize that we are being challenged to articulate our own religious identities in an increasingly religiously plural setting where others are, in many ways, listening and asking questions of us as we do so. What this means is that whether we like it or not, to be religious today is to be inter-religious.
People often talk about unification, or harmonization of religion and science. I think a keyword is “the truth.” Simple logic says that truth is one and consistent, and it naturally brings unification.

Whatever your beliefs and convictions may be, honor your Creator Lord the-God, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen by yourself, right now, right down here on the planet Earth while you are still alive to reap the fruits of Guidance from your own Creator Lord the God.
We are attending this conference because we feel responsibility before the future and past generations, our own conscience and God. I am determined that we need to create a single information area for our inter-parliamentary community on the basis of the principles of humanity, trust and cooperation.
My assertions are based on something which seems to me essential: the fundamental unity of all living organisms; the fundamental unity of human beings; the fundamental unity of human curiosity, and, consequently, the fundamental unity of sciences as a base for the development of a transdisciplinary, human-centered perspective of society.
We must put forward the common good. Responsibility, humanity and solidarity are the key words for people and the planet.
