Brno, Czech Republic - UPF-Europe held a conference on the topic “New Perspectives for the Development and Future of Europe and the World” in the Czech Republic’s second-largest city.
Maseru, Lesotho - The Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Archibald Lehohla, and the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Sephiri Motanyane addressed the International Leadership Conference during the Global Peace Tour in Lesotho.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Children in Malaysia are taking the lead in showing how they can make a difference in the life of underprivileged children. Through the Power of 10 Sen, the collective action of contributing a small coin is becoming a nationwide movement of peace that is set to help children around the world.
Taipei, Taiwan - The Global Peace Tour event in Taipei drew more than 1,200 participants. The theme of the keynote address was “The Turning Point for the Development of Taiwan in this Changing Age.”

UN General Assembly Resolution declaring 2009 the International Year of Reconciliation
Twelve meetings were held throughout Ethiopia November 11-22 to introduce the Universal Peace Federation and its peace message to a wide variety of people. Guest speakers included Rev. Ho Jin Lee, who came from Korea, and the Assistant Continental Director of UPF-Africa, Rev. Sue Eun Ryoo.
More than 900 gatherings took place throughout Nepal in late 2006 to deliver the UPF peace message. In 20 of these events, guest speakers were two distinguished Korean Ambassadors for Peace, Prof. Lee Chang Sup and Dr. Cho Kyung Chong.
Dominican Republic - Two American pastors delivered the UPF peace message in Santo Domingo and Santiago.
