International Association of Academicians for Peace
The International Association of Academicians for Peace (IAAP) represents a new global interdisciplinary academic initiative aimed at contributing to the realization of a world of lasting peace by building a professional network for academicians to foster a world of peace based on the ideals of interdependence, mutual prosperity and universal values.
USA—The second webinar hosted by the International Association of Academicians for Peace (IAPP) focused on South Korea.
Asunción, Paraguay—More than 150 people met in Asunción to inaugurate the International Association of Academicians for Peace(IAAP).
Argentina—“Culture and Values for the Reencounter” was the theme of the Conversation organized by IAAP and UPF-Argentina.
Europe and the Middle East—A UPF webinar probed an international highway’s potential to contribute to world peace.
UPF-Central America and the Caribbean—On October 26, 2021, UPF-Central America and the Caribbean held the Inaugural Ceremony of IAAP at the regional level.
Brazil—On July 22, 2021, the IAAP held the “Inauguration Assembly of the Association of Academicians for World Peace in Brazil.”
Argentina—“Cultural and Technological Challenges for the Common Good” was the theme of the inaugural panel of the International Association of Academicians for Peace (IAAP)-Argentina.
Moscow, Russia—UPF-Russia held a conference titled "Education Today: New Challenges and Prospects."
Melbourne, Australia—The IAAP-Oceania held a meeting to begin laying out a roadmap for peacebuilding in the region for the next two years.
New Delhi, India—In celebration of Teacher’s Day 2020 in India, UPF and the IAAP convened a “Peace Talks” webinar on the theme, “Saluting the Role of Teachers in the COVID Era.”
Sikkim State, India—UPF-India held a second webinar on the pandemic’s effect on education, organized by the country’s chapter in Sikkim state
New Delhi, India—Indian academicians joined UPF and the IAAP for a ‘Peace Talks’ webinar on COVID-19’s impact on education in India.
