Moscow Branch of the National Unification Advisory Council (South Korea) Meets

Moscow, Russia - The inauguration ceremony of the Head of the Moscow branch of the National Advisory Council for a Peaceful and Democratic Unification under the President of the Republic of Korea (www.nuac.go.kr) took place on July 19 at the Korston Hotel in Moscow.
Mr. Kim Won Il (김원일) was appointed as a Head of the Moscow branch and gave a short speech. After that, a professor from Ihwa University Mr. Choy De Sok (최대석) gave a presentation on the new official policy of President of the Republic of Korea, Mrs. Park Geun-hye, about relations with North Korea. One of the main functions of the new structure is to “promote domestic and overseas public opinion with respect to the unification of Korea.”
UPF-Russia gave a congratulatory letter to Mr. Kim Won Il, who has been working in Russia for many years, and he expressed a desire to cooperate.
