Interreligious Council Launched in Colombia

Bogota, Colombia - Leaders of diverse churches, faiths, and spiritual traditions met at the Auditorium of the American School of Bogota on September 4 to establish the Colombian Assembly of Religions and Spiritual Traditions.
This interreligious council will host open and inclusive gatherings of diverse religious expressions in order to work together for peace, defend the freedom of religion and conscience, and speak as one voice about events that affect the national life.
