Vatican City – UPF's president Dr. Thomas G. Walsh, along with the secretary general of UPF-Argentina, Miguel Werner, were privileged to have been invited to attend and to offer support and encouragement to the great work the Vatican, under His Holiness Pope Francis, is doing to promote interfaith and to bring an end to the violence in Syria. They attended the Jan. 13, 2014 consultation "Syria: Can We Remain Indifferent?"
