Chisinau, Moldova - A conference on Ecology, Culture and Spirituality, May 22, 2014, was organized by Spiritual University Brahma Kumaris Moldova with the support of UPF, the Association of Moldova and its National Minorities, Club UNESCO, and the NGO "Harmony."

Over 40 guests representing government, NGOs, education and academia from Russia, India, Korea, Japan, Ukraine, Romania and Moldova worked together in the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History, another co-organizer and host of the event. In the second part of the program participants had the opportunity to take a tour of the oldest museum of Moldova, with rich collection initiated, in 1889. (http://www.muzeu.md/).
The presentations reflected different aspects of the interdependence of the spiritual and environmental well being. Among the topics on the conference's agenda were the quality life at all levels and positive changes in the world, from ecology of love to ecology of nature, outdoor education, importance of the family institution, eco-foods for healthier life and environment, the importance of creativity and work for raising youth with a healthy conscience, ecological and cultural tourism, ecology of soul and global challenges. Participants active Ambassadors for Peace and UPF volunteers from Japan.
Another important part of the conference was a trip to the historic place Orheiul Vechi (Old Orhei) for an ecological tree-planting project.
This event united the minds and hearts of people with different national and spiritual backgrounds, evidence of our oneness, common spiritual source and common direction on our path toward a more sustainable and healthier environment.
