Brazil-2015-11-21-Faith Representatives Gather in Sao Paolo to Pray for Peace

São Paulo, Brazil—UPF-Brazil organized an interfaith prayer and meeting on November 21, 2015, at the São Bento Monastery (Mosteiro de São Bento) in São Paulo. The chapel was fully packed with friends and guests of UPF-Brazil, including Indian master Śrī Tathāta.

Following the recent Bento Rodrigues dam disaster in Brazil and the terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 130 people, representatives of various faith groups were invited to pray for peace in the world.

Rev Elias, who was the emcee for the event, asked each representative to share a few words.

Representing Unificationism, Rev. Christian Lepelletier, vice president of UPF-Brazil, shared the following: "We are all children from the One Creator, God. Independent of our nation or race, we are one family of all mankind; we all share sadness when innocent people are suddenly killed violently...We urgently need to transform the world by connecting each human being to Our Heavenly Parent, source of love and peace..."
