Montreal Interfaith Forum: Addressing the MDGs

On April 16, we had 11 guests at our monthly breakfast, including two Catholic priests, both originally from New Brunswick, and one monsignor who works directly with the cardinal and supervises many parishes in Montreal.
Mr Famularo presented UPF's five core principles and also explained about the eight Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations. Two participants were recognized as Ambassadors for Peace, both former educators, one in the Catholic church and the other a Jain professor who in his retirement has dedicated himself to building schools in less developed areas of the world.
