Melbourne, Australia—Ambassadors for Peace in Melbourne, Australia, in partnership with UPF have come together to create a novel interfaith program, the Helping Hands Project, which serves people who need assistance with cleaning and gardening. UPF-Melbourne has purchased a trailer with gardening equipment and has enlisted the services of men who are seeking to change their lives by helping others. Bill Pontikis, founder of Café Care, said that serving others is a good way to change one’s life style by serving others. Bill approaches raising up individuals from Christian perspective, while Hussen Mohamed does this from a Muslim perspective.
