Russian Ambassadors for Peace Mark Earth Day

St. Petersburg, Russia—About 35 UPF friends and volunteers gathered for a creative meeting dedicated to Earth Day.
Earth Day, which calls for the unification of the world’s peoples to protect the environment, falls during the celebration of the Spring Week of Kindness, in which Russians traditionally engage in service projects. This is an unusual holiday: It is a kind of marathon or relay race of good deeds, in which people from all over our country join.
The creative meeting in the cultural capital on April 23, 2022, was warm and sincere. Several people came to the meeting straight from environmental service projects and discussed with the other participants their good emotions and impressions.
Songs, poems, art therapy practice, sincere conversations filled the participants with warm feelings and strength for new good achievements.
