UPF-Albania Discusses a Good Society

Shkodra, Albania—About 100 people participated in "A Good Society Is Built by Loving Each Other," an event organized by the local UPF Peace Council.
Arnold Grami, the local coordinator of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), an organization that is affiliated with UPF, was the emcee of the event held on June 7, 2022, in Shkodra’s Hotel Colosseo.
Greetings were offered by Marie Koliqi, chair of the Shkodra Peace Council, and Ali Laçej, one of the first Ambassadors for Peace in Albania who is currently serving as the coordinator of the Albanians' Peace Council in the Balkans.
On behalf of the Presiding Council of UPF-Albania, Gaqo Apostoli, the coordinator of the Albanians' Peace Council in Diaspora, greeted the audience.
The director of the Prenk Jakova music school, Anton Kaftalli, greeted the participants with a violin musical piece dedicated to Shkodra, composed by his father, the composer Mark Kaftalli.
After UPF-Albania Secretary General Gani Rroshi gave an introduction to UPF, 40 local dignitaries were appointed as Ambassadors for Peace.
Special thanks go to the presidency of the Shkodra Peace Council: Marie Koliqi, Lumturi Matlia, Majlinda Laçaj and Brunil Lleshi.
