Argentina—Ambassador for Peace Yndabor del Valle Sayavedra was recognized as “Outstanding Santa Fe Citizen” by Santa Fe’s Municipal Council of Vera Cruz. The distinction was given on June 1, 2022 at the deliberative body sessions hall, which valued the career of the plastic artist and aphorist for taking “our art to many cities around the country.”
The recognition was promoted by Councilman Saúl Perman, who gave the distinction along with the Council’s president, Leandro González, and Councilwoman Adriana Molina.
The event had various figures who celebrated the artist’s career. Among them was Father Axel Arguinchona, representative of the Interreligious Dialogue Board and Malvinas veteran.
Mr. Sayavedra, who has written many self-help books, was born in Santiago del Estero Province, where he worked as an aphorist, making and using memorable expressions of distilled wisdom. He has lived for more than 40 years in Santa Fe, a city in that province in northeast Argentina, where he has focused on painting and collage, producing more than 300 artworks.
