UPF-Russia Honors Youth Media Leader

Moscow, Russia—A media figure who has focused on creating morally oriented media for young people was awarded an Ambassador for Peace certificate at the UPF Peace Embassy.
The UPF congratulates Svetlana Drukovskaya, the director of the School of Television of the Prodvizhenie (“Advancement”) TV channel, on being awarded the title of Ambassador for Peace.
The ceremony took place on October 12, 2022, at the Peace Embassy in Moscow.
Ms. Drukovskaya has been engaged in the moral education of children and youth for many years.
More than 10,000 children have been trained at the School of Television, directed by Svetlana Drukovskaya, all of whom have taken an active part in the creation of morally oriented media content for children and adolescents.
The following socially significant projects were made: "Hockey to the Masses," "Thank You, Mother," "Victory Day," "We Are for Peace," "Children's Film Festival," "We Are Equal," " How to Stand Up to Bullying?," "Social Networks," "Mom, I'm Real," and many others.
In 2018, Ms. Drukovskaya was awarded the Business Success award from the Opora Rossii (“Support of Russia”) public organization for the best social project. In 2022, the School of Television project received the Grand Prix at the international festival in the city of Kazan, Russian Republic of Tatarstan, as "The Best Educational Space for Children and Youth."
With Ms. Drukovskaya’s active participation, a program is being implemented jointly with Federation of Hockey of the Omsk Region for the adaptation of athletes who, for health reasons, cannot remain in professional sports.
