Sydney, Australia - More than 60 people gathered on April 4 for a talk by Mr. James Paul, conductor of the Sydney Street Choir. Then the choir treated everyone with several heart-warming and inspring songs.
The meeting was part of the bi-monthly series of Ambassadors for Peace gatherings in Sydney.
Established in 2001, the Sydney Street Choir's mission is to connect with, inspire, and empower those who are living or working in homeless or disadvantaged communities through creating music, performance, and passionate expression that truly opens people's hearts.
Mr. Paul has taught music at juvenile justice centers around Sydney and through projects targeting young people at risk and/or with mental health issues. As an artist-in-residence James has taught choral programs in public schools across New South Wales. He also runs music therapy classes for the disability community around Sydney.
