Ambassadors for Peace

Honoring a Legacy of Peace in Ghana

Accra, Ghana - The Universal Peace Federation of Ghana held a memorial ceremony on May 5 for Ambassadors for Peace who recently passed to the spiritual world.

Our desire was to honor six people, but the family of one of the deceased could not be contacted due to the fact that they had relocated to a different region. Therefore, we held the ceremony for five Ghanaians and three people who were honored in international programs.

Sample materials used in Legacy of Peace ceremonies in other nations were obtained, and the program was planned accordingly with responsibilities assigned to UPF members and Ambassadors for Peace. Invitations were extended to family members.

For example, the National Vice Chairman of the Ghana Muslim Mission, Hajj Abdallah Tetteh, paid tribute to UPF Founder Rev. Sun Myung Moon for his "generosity to mankind in pursuit of peace and love." He concluded that his "legacy of peace will forever be cherished."
