St. Petersburg, Russia - The July 11 meeting of the St. Petersburg Peace Council was attended by its most active members, among them Secretary General of UPF-Russia, Konstantin Krylov; chair of the Peace Council, Tatyana Krasnosumova; and volunteers Denis Pigasov and Tatyana Nadzinskaya. They discussed important issues including further developments of Baltic Dialogue Project and assistance for the Novosibirsk chapter of the Universal Peace Federation in creating a Peace Park in Novosibirsk near the House of National Cultures.
Concerning the first issue, the first to take the floor was Konstantin Krylov, who told about his tour in the Baltic States with his presentation of the Baltic Dialogue Project. The tour resulted in a mutual agreement to promote joint activities for carrying out the project in each of the Baltic States. In the course of the discussion, the participants worked out the concrete plan of actions for promoting the project involving partners from the Baltic States.
For making the project a success in Novosibirsk, it was decided to delegate Denis Pigasov as the leader of the team from St. Petersburg.
