Reykjavik, Iceland - My wife and I invited three Ambassadors for Peace from the Church of Iceland, a Lutheran body, to our home for dinner. They were Thorhallur Heimisson, a priest, book publisher, and family counselor; Bjarni Randver Sigurvinsson, who teaches theology at the University of Iceland; and Prof. Petur Petursson, head of the theological faculty of the University of Iceland.
We exchanged ideas on a friendly, colleagial basis. They said they had read most of the autobiography of the UPF Founder, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, and had a number of questions. Two of them are single, so my wife gave them a lunch box to take home.
We keep regular contact with other Ambassadors for Peace and hope to develop a religious peace council.
