Interfaith Liturgy Held in Bogota

Bogota, Colombia - A "Great Interfaith Service for Peace and Freedom" was celebrated in Bogota, Colombia on August 23 with representatives from many faith traditions offering prayers, readings, chanting, and dances.
A member of the Colombian Parliament, Efrain Torres, was honored with the title of Osei Shalom (Peacemaker) because of his work in the national government for peace among civil society and religions. Sheikh Mohammad Mohseni (Shi’a Islam) received the “Promoter of Abrahamic Peace” award recognizing his work for brotherhood among Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
