Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - A ceremony launching a new book by UPF-Malaysia President Tan Sri Dr. Devaki Krishnan took place on Aug. 14 at the Royal Lake Club in Kuala Lumpur. Emphasizing her service to Malaysia, the book is entitled Tan Sri Devaki Krishnan - With Elegance and Commitment.
In a message for the occasion, Dr. Thomas Walsh, President of UPF, wrote: "On this auspicious occasion, and on behalf of the Universal Peace Federation, I extend my congratulations for this important accomplishment and milestone in your life. This recent achievement should be a source of great pride for you, your family and all Malaysians. As an Ambassador for Peace of the Universal Peace Federation, you have demonstrated an exemplary standard of dedication and hard work for peace and for the promotion of an ethical and caring society. You have made your mark in Malaysia and throughout the world. The publication of your book will only add to the world’s awareness of your already remarkable life of service to others."
