Accra, Ghana - The following were appointed Ambassadors for Peace at a ceremony on May 7, 2013, in Accra in recognition of their contribution to peace and the development of Ghana:

Mr. Kenneth Ashighbey, managing director of the Graphic Communications Group Limited

Mr. Noble Chief Godfred Medicine, executive chairman of the US Group of Companies

Mr. Delanyo Quayson, human resource director of Unibank Ghana Limited

Mrs. Margaret Akosua Artisoand, chairperson of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly

Bafour Nana Oponwaa II, queen of the Kronti Royal Family of the Akwamu Traditional Area

Dr. Emmanuel Dormon, the deputy chief of party of the Advance Programme of Agricultural Cooperative Development International/Volunteers in Overseas Cooperative Assistance
