Lima, Peru - Ambassadors for Peace in Peru continue to promote peace whenever they have the opportunity, many of them taking the initiative to work or hold meetings themselves.
Peace Prize
Recently one Ambassador for Peace, Mr. Miguel Johnny Pacheco Ramos, who has worked for the past 17 years in local government, received an award from the Ministry for Women and Social Development in Peru. Each year they award a “Peace Prize” to carefully selected people who have shown initiative in their work for peace.
