Las Vegas, United States—UPF-USA set up a booth spreading the message of “Living the Dream” at Dream Fest, an event to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on January 19, 2015. UPF-USA president Ricardo de Sena met with several public officials, including Nevada Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison; Nevada State Sen. Kelvin Atkinson; Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman; and the new sheriff of Las Vegas, Mr. Joe Lombardo.

The one-day event featured entertainment ranging from cheer leading to drumline marching bands. Many volunteers were recognized for their exceptional work; among them, Mrs. Katherine Duncan-Bartlett, who was officially appointed as the new chairwoman of UPF—Las Vegas the next day, January 20.
