New Ambassadors for Peace Appointed in Peru

Lima, Peru—Following UPF-Peru’s successful celebration of the UN International Day of Yoga 2016 in June, the UPF chapter joined together again with members of the NGO Gran Fraternidad Universal to welcome to Lima the distinguished Master and Guru Armando Navarro. After Master Navarro enlightened the audience with his wisdom, he was appointed as an Ambassador for Peace by UPF-Peru’s vice president, General Hector Jhon Caro.
Also appointed as Ambassadors for Peace were career diplomat, former ambassador of Peru, Mr. Carlos Alberto Yrigoyen, and Mr. Kabir Pajares Garcés, a young author.
At the annual Lima International Book Fair, UPF was represented by Mr. Caro, who spoke about UPF’s work for peace and presented Mr. Garcés with an Ambassador for Peace certificate in front of a new audience.
