New Ambassadors for Peace Appointed in Nepal

Kathmandu, Nepal—UPF-Nepal organized an Ambassador for Peace awards program on Nov. 19, 2016 in Subidhanagar, Tinkune, Kathmandu, Nepal.
UPF-Asia education director, Dr. Robert Kittel, gave a presentation on UPF’s principles of peace and the mission of Ambassadors for Peace.
Following the presentation, UPF-Nepal chair, Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, gave the main remarks, in which he explained the value of the family in building a peaceful nation and world.
Ten guests of the program were then appointed as Ambassador for Peace.
The event concluded with closing remarks, which were given by Mr. Madan Kumar Siwakoti, president of the Unified Village Society, who also chaired the program.
