UPF-Nicaragua Holds Seminar on Peace Principles

Managua, Nicaragua—Forty Ambassadors for Peace participated in a “Vision for Peace” seminar organized by UPF-Nicaragua, on December 1, 2017, at the Hilton Princess Hotel in Managua, the capital of the country.
UPF-Nicaragua president and former member of the National Assembly of Nicaragua, Mr. Agustín Jarquín Anaya, gave the welcoming remarks. “Vision for Peace, One Family Under God” and “The Cause of Conflicts” were among the topics of the presentations that were given at the one-day program.
The distinguished participants were:

- Hon. Ruth del Socorro Cerda Acosta, member of the National Assembly of Nicaragua
- Rev. Alfredo Joiner, pastor of the Morava Church
- Mrs. Dina Mora Nicho, Morava Church
- Dr. Norman Leclair, councilor, mayor’s office of Matagalpa
- Mrs. Luisa Guadalupe Jarquin, councilor
- Mrs. Janeth Salmeron Correa, councilor
- Mrs. Wendy Puerto
- Dr. Maria Eugenia Acevedo, magistrate
- Mr. Jose Flores Velazques, academic coordinator, Universidad Internactional de la Integración de América Latina (UNIVAL)
- Mrs. Paula Roberta Mendez, civil registry of the mayor’s office of Leon
- Mrs. Candida Herrera Rosas, Colegio Madre Maria Luisa (Mother Maria Luisa Catholic College) in Leon
