UPF-Congo Seminar Welcomes New Ambassadors for Peace

Liambou, Congo—UPF-Congo conducted a three-day seminar on “February 26–28, 2021. The program, attended by 29 new Ambassadors for Peace, was on the theme “Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity and Shared Universal Values for a Peaceful Election in Congo Brazzaville.” The purpose of the program was to “prepare Ambassadors for Peace to be peace facilitators with civil society in order to avoid all forms of violence during elections.”
The seminar had five instructional components. They were as follows:
- Universal Principles of Peace and Identity of an Ambassador for Peace, by Pastor Milolo Teddy Maixent;
- Democracy and Construction of the Heavenly Congo, by Mr. Augustin Zodji;
- From Dependence to Independence towards Interdependence, by Rev. Ndielle Norbert;
- Dialogue and negotiation: Way of Conflict resolution, by Mr. Augustin Zodji;
- The Five Universal Principles of Peace, by Mr. Madingou Valentin.
Mr. Driss Senda, chair of UPF-Congo, congratulated the new Ambassadors for Peace and paid tribute to UPF Founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. He concluded the well-received program by an appeal for a presidential campaign free of violence and voiced his unequivocal support for the verdict of the ballot box.
