Diplomats Discuss Principles of Cooperation

St. Petersburg, Russia—In observance of World Environment Day, UPF co-organized a meeting of guests of the International Economic Forum.
Approximately 25 representatives of culture, art, business, sports and other fields gathered on June 5, 2021, to discuss principles of cooperation based on mutual prosperity and shared values.
Two foreign diplomats were the main speakers at the event: Deepak Miglani, consul general of India in the Russian Federation, and Renato Barkezi, counselor of the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Ascona (Italy).
The guests welcomed the presentation of Ambassador for Peace certificates to businessman Sharan Shukrit, professional athlete Anton Losev, and a representative of Russia’s Chechen Republic, Sultan Mukhtarov.
Natalia Chigrina, the head of UPF for Northwest Russia, noted the role of each of the awardees in establishing peace on earth.
