Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina—A delegation from UPF-Albania joined 50,000 believers at a Bosnian pilgrimage site.
Twenty Ambassadors for Peace and the UPF-Albania Presiding Council journeyed by bus to the town of Medjugorje, where in 1981 six local teenagers began having visions of the Virgin Mary.
The chairwoman of UPF-Albania proposed the trip as a good opportunity to pray for the nation and as spiritual support for everybody. The trip lasted from June 25 to 27, 2021.
Besides the pilgrimage, which included climbing a 520-meter mountain, the trip was also the launch of "Peace Road" Balkans 2021, which will be continued into the autumn.
