Bratislava, Slovakia—UPF-Slovakia invited Dr. Igor Cibula, a Slovak columnist and former intelligence officer, to give his insights into Russia and China.
There was a great interest in the program held on February 27, 2023, and the hall of the Bratislava Peace Embassy was filled to the last seat by about 50 participants.
A renowned analyst, Dr. Cibula often is interviewed by various media.
During his talk he explained the background and context of the Russian-Chinese relationship, as those nations now hold the key to peace or war.
His analysis of Beijing's efforts to end the war in Ukraine was enlightening too.
On another topic, Dr. Cibula recalled that in the early 1990s he was one of the leaders from Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union who attended an international conference in New York that was sponsored by the UPF co-founders.
