Kathmandu, Nepal—A high-level delegation from Nepal, led by former prime minister H.E. Madhav Kumar Nepal, and which included former minister of peace and reconstruction, and co-chair of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP)-Asia, Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, visited North Korea to promote peace and friendship.

The delegation met with government leaders in Pyongyang on August 20, 2017. During the meeting, former prime minister Nepal recognized UPF’s and IAPP’s peace efforts in the peninsula.
