UPF-Africa—On December 23, 2022, an African virtual conference on education was held through the Zoom platform. With the theme: “Education and Capacity Building of African Youth: CEN-SAD Youth Program, a project of hope for the Youth,” this conference brought together Ministers of Youth and Education, experts, consultants and other high-level officials from CEN-SAD who came to contribute to the development of educational programs that meet the needs and build the capacities of African youth.
Organized jointly by the Universal Peace Federation, CEN-SAD and the Youth and Students for Peace Association, the conference was honored to be chaired by H.E. Brigi Rafini, executive secretary of CEN-SAD. H.E. Rafini, bringing his wisdom, affirmed in his speech that it is important to mobilize youth of all categories around a common vision and ambition.
This conference is the result of the World Summit 2022 and the International Leadership Conference held in August 2022 in Korea. Through its global network of Ambassadors for Peace and collaborators, UPF works tirelessly to gradually resolve conflicts and reconcile the divided human family.
Through the virtual platform, this unprecedented meeting has had a significant impact on opinion leaders around the world who are now aware of the need for a new vision and clear, bold leadership to solve the critical problems of our time.
At the end of this meeting, all the participants expressed their interest in building this new Africa with a revitalized youth.
