Vladivostok, Russia—UPF volunteers and Ambassadors for Peace participated in a marathon in Russia’s Far East to raise funds for children and adults with cancer.
The race on September 3, 2023, started after a short speech by Dmitry Yakukhny, a new UPF Ambassador for Peace who leads the Iron Team club and is an enthusiastic runner.
Maria Sergienko, the UPF representative in the city of Vladivostok, participated in the charity run and then held a meeting with Ambassadors for Peace and UPF volunteers in which she explained about the Peace Road initiative and about the vision of the UPF founders for an International Peace Highway.
