At the National Congress of the Republic of Ecuador, the Autonomous University of Quito held a ceremony to confer doctorate degrees, organized by an Assembly member who is a bishop of the Anglican Church. An Ambassador for Peace who is also a bishop of the Anglican Church and other ministers received this degree from the university, which is affiliated with the Anglican Church.
Representatives of the Universal Peace Federation were invited to attend the ceremony because the Ambassador for Peace wants to affiliate a branch school of the university with the UTS Interfaith Seminary in New York and to send students there.
