Tirana, Albania - After the Legacy of Peace ceremony, the chairman of Tirana Peace Council, Mr. Bajram Ibraj, launched the idea to organize a coffee/tea meeting with some of the Ambassadors for Peace who had participated in recent events. One of the tasks that Mr. Ibraj been assigned was to develop a more in-depth explanation of the Cain/Abel paradigm of conflict in every level: family, society, national, and worldwide.
It was difficult to set a date for this meeting because many people go on the beach or watch the exciting World Cup games during the summer days.
Finally we scheduled a meeting for the afternoon of June 18. Some key members of the Tirana Peace Council responded to our invitation. Although the invitation was for coffee or tea, a slide presentation was given about the Cain/Abel paradigm of conflict. The presentation was quite interesting and concrete, stimulating much discussion. Germany was playing against Serbia in the World Cup that evening, so program ended at 8:00 pm. All of the participants left very inspired and happy to share such an important time.
Mr. Ibraj was happy to be able to communicate a message that he had been preparing ever since he was elected as the Tirana Peace Council chairman.
