Celebrating the Anniversary of Komsomol in Dushanbe

Dushanbe, Tajikistan - On October 29, the trade-union organization together with the Universal Peace Federation held a meeting celebrating the 75th anniversary of Komsomol (Young Communists League). The event was attended by former Komsomol activists who became prominent figures in different spheres.
The participants discussed issues concerning the present national situation including public health and military operations in Hujand. They also discussed the advantages and limitations of the former Komsomol organization and the present situation in the world. Alexander Fedorov, Secretary General of UPF-Tajikistan, told the participants about Universal Peace Federation, its projects, and plans.
The meeting took place in one of the best restaurants of the city. After the meeting the guests enjoyed a musical performance. Alexander Fedorov surprised the audience by performing a potpourri of old Komsomol songs. The hearts of the participants were deeply touched.
