Elderly People's Day in Dushanbe

Dushanbe, Tajikistan - An event in honor of Elderly People's Day took place at the Center of Strategic Research on October 1. Among the participants were representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Public Health, Department of Internal Affairs, People’s Democratic Party, State Committee for Public Property, and activists for the elderly.
They prepared a letter to the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to be delivered to him by Ambassador for Peace, Dr. Sayfullo Sadulloevich Safarov. They also formulated proposals to each Ministry.
Among the speakers was the Secretary General of UPF-Tajikistan, Alexander Fedorov.
