Prospects for Human Development in the Urals
On December 8 a round-table discussion took place on the theme of “Perspectives of Human Development in the 21st Century: Culture, Health Care, and Teachers’ Ethics." This was part of the Innovation Forum of the local theoretical and practical conference on “Science for Education” on the tenth anniversary of the Russian Education Academy, Ural chapter. The event took place in the library of the city hall.
The initiator and responsible person for organization of the event was Galina Petrovna Sikorskaya, head of the Russian Education Academy, Ural chapter.
Among the participants were the president of the Russian Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, Nikolai Nikandrov, professors of pedagogical sciences, librarians, teachers, and community members. There were altogether 45 participants.
