Moscow Seminar on the Origin of Conflicts

Russia-2011-02-25-Moscow Seminar on the Origin of Conflicts

Moscow, Russia - The Secretary General of UPF-Russia, Konstantin Krylov, met with Ambassadors for Peace, public figures, and interested people on February 25 at the Peace Embassy in Moscow. The theme of the lecture was “The Cause of Conflicts.”

The lecture was based on the philosophical vision of the UPF founder, Dr. Sun Myung Moon. The goal of the lecture was to explain the nature of human conflicts and explore ways to solve them in conformity with the law of cause and effect.

According to the UPF philosophy, love is the cause and root of human life, and the family is the school of love and altruism. The disintegration of the family, decline of morals, and lack of responsibility marriage and parenthood have a negative impact on character development and degrade relationships. Thus, establishing world peace begins with reviving such moral imperatives as purity (sexual purity before marriage) and loyalty in marriage.

The lecture was broadcast through the Internet.
