Ryazan, Russia - A second workshop on “Conflicts and ways of solving them” took place in Ryazan on March 20. The Secretary General of UPF-Russia, Konstantin Krylov, gave a presentation on the announced topic in the light of the teachings of UPF founder Dr. Sun Myung Moon. The audience appreciated the presented materials. “It’s a great pity that we have not heard about it earlier! We could have refrained from many mistakes and avoided many conflicts in our life.” Such was the general opinion expressed by many participants of the event. They realized how their own position and their attitude towards other people can suppress conflicts.
L.P. Shmakova, chairperson of the grass-roots organization “Teachers for spirituality and morality,” conducted a training on the theme of “Know yourself” aimed at helping people to look inside their minds and cultivate a desire to improve. The workshop guests talked about true love of mothers, self-esteem, and human dignity. They discussed moral qualities characteristic of worthy citizens; they insisted that such human virtues as honesty, justice, goodness, and empathy should be constantly practiced in everyday life.
