New Delhi Forum on Securing Our Future

New Delhi, India - UPF-India organized a forum on the theme of “Securing Our Future: A Call for Transformational Leadership” at the India International Center on July 8. The program was chaired by UPF-India Executive Chairman, Amb. K.V. Rajan.

The Hon. Minister of Government of India, Sri Salman Khurshid, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, and Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, Member of Parliament from Nepal, was the Guest of Honor; he spoke on "A Perspective of Peace" emphasizing transformational leadership based on family values.

The program was well attended by leaders and Ambassadors for Peace of of different fields, such as politics, education, social engineering, youth, and civil society. At the end of the program a certificate of Ambassador for Peace was conferred to Hon. Safder H. Khan, Chairperson of the Delhi State Minorities Commission.

Following this program, a graduation ceremony was held for youth completing a leadership training program.
